Antioch’s First Peoples

About Antioch
Antioch is dedicated to providing a Native American focused curriculum that is designed with the Muckleshoot community in mind. Core requirements, area of concentration courses, and electives combine to provide students an opportunity to incorporate their knowledge and interests to enhance their professional goals. Personal advising and on sight staffing provide an academic support system to help assure student success. Students are invited to participate in curriculum development, design independent studies, and they can also receive credit for life learning.

If you are at a crossroads in your life, trying to identify your next career path or move beyond a job that is not providing the advancement opportunities you strive for, then Antioch’s Bachelor’s Completion Program at Muckleshoot Tribal College will give you the support and direction you need to move forward. We offer areas of concentration in Human Development and Learning and Leadership and Organizational Studies as well as the opportunity to design your own area of concentration. The program’s flexible classes meet weekly for 2.5 hours for ten weeks and accommodate students’ busy work schedules.

Through Antioch’s site based First People’s Program, you can:
• Work closely with faculty mentors to build a balanced and practical education with a focus on social responsibility
• Design your own program to meet your professional, academic and personal goals
• Receive credit for your life experience
• Take advantage of flexible class schedules and credit transfer policies
• Integrate your learning with your life
